Last month, I announced that I would be starting a project about games in education. On this site, I will be gradually building up this project, under the header of Think:games (instead of the earlier announced Thinking Games). This title captures the vision of the project better: games can make you think, but also: people need to think more about games. They have already pervaded many aspects of our society, so it would be unwise for education in general to ignore this trend.
I will be posting some actually useful stuff here soon. If you still need convincing games can be as catching, as existentially obtrusive, as philosophically pervasive and as emphatically strong as a book (and if you don’t mind the occasional scare), you should play SOMA.
